Henrik's Comics

I'm a cartoonist called Henrik Erlandsson. (Yes, the guy in the chair!) The nude, hairy model on the floor (in one of his usual impossible sleep-poses) is my welsh terrier Mahoney. The pointy bird-catcher about to incise is Kaktus.
I started drawing in 1995, and then I got a (boring) job and put cartooning on ice. I should have never started, because my mind continued to swarm me with funny and weird ideas! What's forced me to make this page is that I've got stacks and stacks of ideas that I need to draw or else shrivel up and die. (The tidy picture above has been, er, "edited for clarity".)
Now I'm drawing full steam, and Zoot & Ty is the latest comic, er, available for syndication. It has a cast of 5 main characters, with (to date) about 30 supporting characters, mainly used in the Spacestation strips. It's set in the Canadian wilderness, and now I've begun inking 50 or so strips up, with stacks of material for more. The Zoot & Ty strips page is updated daily.
Another strip reveals my heritage: The swedish guy Mr. O from a while back is as yet unpublished (except for in my fanzine). The Mr. O strips page contains a selection of strips from the wells of my archive. Check it out.
